it was actually so great, because even though tons of crap happened, it’s all kind of a blur.
the stuff i do remember, is the stuff of lifelong memories. which makes me say that this october was amazing.
earlier on in the month, i got the best opportunity everrr:: to go to Free the Children’s WE DAY! at the ACC in torontooo! It was sooo phenomenal. Tons of amazing speakers & perfomers & Craig Keilburger! *swoon* i got a picture with danny & sav from Degrassi too!! there was something like 8000 young leaders in the acc that day; and you could feel it. so electric.
mid-octoberr the family & i, went down to windsor to visit our baby cousins, theyre 2 & 5 and absolutely the cutest kids everrr! so much personality for their tiny little bodies <3 theyre pretty cool that way.
recently, CultureShock had been planning this event to raise funds for breast cancer research to support our schools partners in pink campaign. it was soo intense planning it in under two weeks!! The bellydance workshop turned out to be a huge successs! for the very first cultureshock event, it was amazinggg!!! i forsee a lot of great things for CS <3
hmm… what else happened in october?
baked cakemix cookies with the sister. ; )
spent an entire day talking to vita, through fb chat. hahahah stayed up untill 4 am with her, or 3am in peoria-standard time :/
grad photos!!! soo cute, well the informal ones at least. but the formal, professionally taken photos were so awkward. I have never had to pose for a picture that strange before. pointing your knees one way, then angling the rest of your body in the opposite direction, holding a bouquet of plastic roses and a fake diploma, trying to not to laugh at how ridiculous you feel.
but yesterday was the ideal way to put a close to october:: Sushi run! afterschool, some of my girls & i headed out on a mission: to get to sushi hour! it was really fun, i’m so glad i have them!
oh, october, october, october, though you also brought me, horrible grades, major stess, draaammaaaa & breakouts of hives on my face, you had your moments.
